The Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) office at Murang’a Technical Training Institute plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality CBET programs. Working closely with the Registrar and Heads of Departments, the CBET office ensures trainers are equipped with up-to-date Occupational Standards, curricula, and learning guides, fostering active learning through diverse methodologies. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining comprehensive Portfolios of Evidence (PoEs) for both learners and trainers, undergoing rigorous internal and external verification. The office facilitates CDACC practical assessments, ensuring resource availability and accurate mark uploads, and oversees national written assessments, guaranteeing a smooth and transparent process. Through these dedicated efforts, the CBET office demonstrates Murang’a Technical Training Institute’s commitment to implementing and delivering the highest standards of CBET education as directed by the government, ultimately empowering learners with the skills and knowledge needed for success.
